Kristen Stewart goes blonde

Showing Cannes pictures, and I can’t help but notice something different about actress, Kristen Stewart.

The “Twilight” star was known for her dark, edgy look, which included her dark locks. But at the festival, she is sporting a brand new platinum blonde look.

Many would instantly think, “oh maybe she is doing it for another movie..”

But, that is just not true, according to Stewart.

The actress spoke to People about her hair change at the Cannes film festival.

K-Stew says she had the time off to do whatever she wanted, therefore she wanted to “fuck up” her hair (her exact words friends).

“I just did like five movies over a two-year period, and I think it’s a very good decision for me right now to stop acting in movies for just a moment, and I’ve never really done that, I’ve never changed my appearance,” she tells People.

The actress has been busy over the past 2 years, with movies like “American Ultra” with Jessie Eisenberg, and “Still Alice” with Julianne Moore.”

Personally, I am not a huge fan of Kristen Stewart. I think she chooses strange roles, but she is just a strange person probably.

But really think about it? Never being in control of what kind of hair colour you want. Actresses and actors are constantly changing their appearances for roles, including weight gain/loss, hair colour, etc.

The successful ones (though they shouldn’t be complaining since they make so much money) can’t even get a hair cut without telling their publicists, I couldn’t even imagine.

The control celebrities face can be immense, especially for young, thriving actors.

But, you’ll never hear their story because they are probably pretty happy with all the money they make.

So good on you K-Stew for trying something different.
