- Vanessa Hudgens to pay $1000 fine for defacing park rock.
The 27-year old actress is facing a $1000 fine after defacing a red rock wall in Sedona, Arizona, according to the Associated Press.
The “Grease” star was vacationing in February during Valentines’ weekend with boyfriend, Austin Butler. She posted on Instagram a photo of their names in a heart carved on this red rock wall, leading to the investigation. Hudgens has since deleted the photo.
ET reports Hudgens received a citation for a misdemeanor count of damaging a natural feature on U.S. Forest Service land. In February, a public affairs for Cocnino National Forest told ET officials became aware of the incident “when the media alerted them of the situation.” (Basically because of Hudgens post).
The money has been put to good use apparently. Reportedly used to repair the rock wall by volunteers, the agreement was approved April 19 by a federal magistrate in Flagstaff.
Even celebs get fines friends, the difference is would be that $1000 seems like nothing to Hudgens (you know, with all that “High School Musical” money).
2. Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Anthony Kiedis rushed to the hospital
Frontman Anthony Kiedis was rushed to hospital on Saturday ahead of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers headlining show on KROQ’s Weenie Roast Festival in Irvine, California.
Billboard is reporting the 53-year-old singer was suffering from severe stomach pains. A tweet from the KROQ, a local rock station in L.A., let fans know about 30 minutes before they were to play that they would be cancelling the spot.
The band members, bassist Flea, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Josh Klinghoffer. took to the stage to apologize to 16,000 fans, letting them know how Kiedis is doing.
“Anthony is on the way to the hospital right now, and we’re unable to play this evening,” Flea said. “We are devastated about it. We’re really sad. We love you so much. We live to rock.”
“We live to f**king dig deep into the depths of our hearts and rock,” he added, “but unfortunately, there’s a medical thing that happened, and he needed to deal with it.”
Smith also took to Twitter to address fans.
“NO one’s more disappointed than us that we couldn’t perform tonight,” he wrote. “Sending love and a speedy recovery to my brother Anthony.”
The rock band’s next concert is scheduled for May 17 in Burbank, California, but there’s no word yet on if they will perform.
No word on how he is doing today.
3. In other music news, Drake continues to stay at the top of Billboard charts.
The “Views” rapper is at the top of the Billboard Hot 100, 200, top album sales and digital songs. The 6ix God did double duty last night on “Saturday Night Live” as performer and guest.
Making fun of the memes and bringing”Views” to “SNL,” Drake is on a high right now.
Super proud of him, and hope the success continues for him.
By the way Drake, you look hotter with the beard man.
