TMZ broke the news first today.

E! News confirmed the actress filed for divorce on Monday.

Citing “irreconcilable differences,” the pair were married for a little over a year.

According to court documents obtained by E!, Heard is asking for spousal support from Depp.

Depp has shown zero emotional distress during this time, considering he has been doing tons of press for his new movie, “Alice Through the Looking Glass.”

Depp has also recently gone on tour with his band “Hollywood Vampires.”

Depp and Heard met on set of “The Rum Diaries” in 2011.

Their relationship raised a few eyebrows due to their 22-year age gap, but despite it all announced their engagement in January 2014.

The couple was married a year later in the Bahamas.

“We connect on a lot of levels but the first things that really got me was she’s an aficionado of the blues,” Depp told E! News in December 2015 at the L.A. premiere of Heard’s latest movie, “The Danish Girl.”

“I would play a song, some old obscure blues song, and she knew what it was.” The “Black Mass”Ā star added, “She’s very, very literate. She’s a voracious reader as I have been, so we connected on that as well and she’s kind of brilliant and beautiful.

It is always sad to see a celebrity couple divorce. Though audiences expect divorce, it is always sad when the reality of it hits. No more beautiful couple pictures of Depp and Heard… Trust me these two, in my opinion, are one of the best looking couples, regardless of their age difference.
