If you haven’t heard about the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard divorce, you have probably have been living under a rock. The story has been everywhere.
Early last week, actress Amber Heard filed for divorce from movie-star Johnny Depp after just 15 months of marriage. Heard cited “irreconcilable differences,” in the legal documents.
But, on Friday, Heard appeared in court to ask for a restraining order against the 52-year-old actor.
Heard showed up with a bruised face, claiming Depp threw a cell-phone at her just days after the divorce announcement.
The judge granted her request, Depp must stay 100 yards away from Heard.
Now the media is getting involved, and it is becoming a he-said, she-said scandal. Depp’s lawyers claim Heard is trying to blackmail Johnny in order to get a large payout.
Others are saying just because Depp is a huge movie star, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t believe Heard’s allegations.
Heard’s lawyers are firing back at Depp’s claim of blackmail.
Attorney Peter Sample told The Wrap Monday that the “allegations against Ms. Heard are absolutely and unequivocally false.” The claim that she is blackmailing Johnny “has no basis in reality and is nothing but the typical celebrity muckraking for profit.”
I went on Amber Heard’s Instagram today. All the comments were calling her “fake,” “liar,” or “gold digger.”
And while I do find it hard to believe that Depp would do this, after his family members and ex-wives have defended him, I do not condone this terrible behaviour of internet trolls commenting on this poor woman’s social media.
She deserves to be left alone, as does Depp, so they can work things out.
The media puts so much attention on little details, such as Heard’s bisexuality (what does that have to do with anything).
As I said before, I don’t know what to think anymore.
