Frank Ocean left us all hanging last week after his long awaited album, “Boys Don’t Cry,” was still not in release, even after so many hints and rumours.
Fast forward one week and Ocean has shocked us all.
Last night, the 28-year-old musician released with what seems to be tracks off “Boys Don’t Cry,” through a mysterious live-stream on the website.
The black and white live-stream shows Ocean, or who we believe to be him, building a set of stairs in large studio while the music plays in the background.
Speaking of the music, the “Novacane” singer does not disappoint.
With his smooth and emotional melodies and beats, how can you not get lost listening to Frank Ocean?
But, fans are skeptical.
Is this the album we were promised, or just songs on their own?
I mean you can’t blame fans for the trust issues, it did take him four years to release any music.
Other Projects In the Works
It seems “Boys Don’t Cry” wasn’t the only project in the works for Ocean.
He has also released a visual album titled, “Endless,” on Apple Music.
It is a separate project, not to be confused with his “Boys Don’t Cry” album.
Pitchfork spoke to an Apple Music rep and all they could say was, “Keep an eye out this weekend for more from Frank.”
GUYS, DOES THIS MEAN OCEAN IS RELEASING TWO SEPARATE ALBUMS AT THE SAME TIME?
We probably won’t find out for awhile, but I mean good things come to those who wait, right?
So be patient, I know we’ve been thinkin’ about you Frank Ocean, but are you thinkin’ of us????
