Niall Horan recently went on The Graham Norton Show last night to discuss his first released solo song “This Town,” and also gave 1D fans a bit of hope when it comes to the band coming back together.

“For now we are doing our own thing,” Horan shared. “We can’t put a date on it but it won’t be in fifty years time. It’s in the foreseeable future. We’ve talked about it but for now we’ll just play by ear and see what happens.”

So don’t give up on the boy band feels yet my friends, it could still happen!

Horan also expresses his gratitude to fans who are loving his new single.

“I am 100 percent relieved that people like it,” he said. “I’ve been sitting on it for so long and keeping it a secret. It was a nerve-wracking time. It’s always been a daunting prospect but the reaction has been insane.”

I love Niall, he was always my favourite member.

Billboard made the announcement on Friday and Madonna will receive the award during the 11th annual Women in Music Event happening in December.

“Madonna is one of a minuscule number of super-artists whose influence and career transcend music,” Janice Min, president and chief creative officer of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, said in a statement.

“With her creative vision, relentless innovation, and dedication to philanthropic causes, she is an inspiration to hundreds of millions of people around the world, all while shattering every career record out there.”

“She is an important feminist on top of that, a one-of-a-kind artist who’s used her influence to change the conversation around women, sexuality and equal rights.”

According to Billboard, Madonna extended her record as the highest-grossest female touring artist of all time during her Rebel Heart Tour, which finished in March.

The 58-year-old music mogul remains the best-selling female recording artist of all time, and continues to contribute to her charity work.

Winners in the past include Reba McEntire in 2007, Ciara in 2008, Beyonce in 09, Fergie in 2010, Taylor Swift won in 2011, Katy Perry in 2012, Pink in 2013, Taylor Swift wins again in 2014 and Lady Gaga snagged the title last year.

The 11th annual Women in Music Event ties in with Billboard‘s Women in Music list, which recognises the 50 most powerful women in the industry.
